Jane Holloway is a Senior Systems Scientist in the Department of Defence, with a background in systems agriculture (Hawkesbury), wool R&D, agricultural and veterinary chemicals, new and emerging technologies with both operational and strategic impacts, climate change and military preparedness, environmental change effects, and changes in strategic military geography as a way of encompassing climate change in Defence. She co-leads a group considering global change impacts, including climate change, and their implications for Defence preparedness. Jane, Cheryl Durrant and Michael Thomas, published a seminal chapter on Climate Change Adaptation and the Military in the International Handbook of Climate Change Adaptation (2015).
