Australian Sebastian Smee has been the art critic for The Boston Globe since 2008 after being the national art critic for The Australian. He won the Pulitzer Prize for Criticism in 2011 after being runner up in 2008. He currently also teaches non-fiction writing at Wellesley College.
His latest book, The Art of Rivalry, has already been translated into nine languages. He has also contributed to books on Lucian Freud, and Mark Bradford.
